THE THIRD TEST. WELLINGTON, Sept, 14 The final Rugby test between New Zealand and New South Wales is to tie played at the Athletic Park tomorrow afternoon, and it promises to be a very bright exposition of the game, with the players on one side looking to the honours to he gained next year, and those on the other determined to make a special effort- to get the credit of one win in the tests. Should the weather conditions bo favourable, there is every prospect of more spectacular play than was shown in the first two tests. The hooking was very heavy for the final test between N.Z. and N.S.W. Two members of the N.S.AY . team, N. C. Smith and D. Eowlcs, left by the Manuka to-dav for Sydney. Smith had his shoulder dislocated in the first test.

A special conference of the New Zealand Rugby Union delegates to-day decided to accept the English Union’s proposal for a New Zealand team's tour of England next year, but to suggest to England that the tour he limited to twenty-live matches, instead of thirty-six; and that the team play a maximum of two matches weekly, and have a week clear prior to oavh test.
