PUBLIC NOTICE of WESTLAND COUNTY BY-LAW DELATING TO THE LICENSING OF -MOTOR CARS, MOTOR CYCLES. TIMBER WAGGONS etc. plying and trafficking on the West-land County Roads. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Westland County Council have made and ordained hy special order a By-law to l e enforced throughout the Westland County. The said By-law ordains Regulations for regulating traffic on the County Roads by means of motor lorries, motor cars, private cars, motor cycles, timber waggons, vehicles, drays, etc. And provides for the issue of annual licenses and the payment of License fees as follows: 1. —Motor lorries carrying a load weighing more than 2J tons 2. —Motor lorries carrying a load weighing L.\ to 2J tons ... 3. —Motor lorries or trucks carrying a load not exceeding 11 tons 4. —One Ton Motor Trucks not plying for hire 5. —Motor ears constructed for carving more than 7 passengers ...• o.—Motor cars constructed for carrying 6 to 7 passengers 7. —Motor cars constructed for carrying 2 to 5 passengers 8. —Private oars constructed for carrying 2 or more passengers 9. —Motor cycles without a .side-car Yearly. £ d. 50 0 0 15 0 0 10 0 C 5 0 0 15 0 0 10 0 0 8 0 0 3 0 0 1 0 0 10.—Drivers’ or conductors’ licenses 2 G And makes the following regulations. That no one under the age of 18 years shall he entitled to obtain a license to drive any of the aforesaid vehicles plying for hire. The examination of persons driving such public vehicles. The application for ccrlilicates of competency and examinations therefore. The rules of the road to he observed bv such drivers of vehicles.
The weight- to be earned by sueh vehicles and the speed at whieli such vehicles may be driven. .
