IRISH POLITICS. LONDON. S'ept. 13. The “Daily Telegraph's” Dublin correspondent says:---“A fresh peace movement is afoot, with a view to enabling the Republicans to enter the new Pail Eireann, "hieli meets on September l!)th. The oath of allegiance is the real stumbling block. The Republicans contend that tliis oath should he abolished, but this, under the Free State Constitution, is im- ] ossihle. There is an impression, however, that the oath could he modified sufficiently to enable Mr do Valera and his followers to join in the Dail Eire mil’s deliberations. The advocates of this contend that an amendment of the oath would constitute a step towards final peace, conciliating the mapority of the Republicans, and benefiting the country as a whole. in the meantime, an intensive campaign for the release of the imprisoned Republican Deputies and other Republicans will open on Sunday. Many meetings have been arranged. The speakers are not einfined to the Republican Party.
