AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION. A STIR CAUSED. GENEVA, Sept. 12.. A French resolution in favour of an immediate and drastic reduction in expenditure caused a stir in League / circles. In the opinion of many delegates the salaries need revision. Simultaneously with this question tho agenda contains suggestions for pensions schemes and a cost of living bonus. COUNT ISIIII CHEERED. GENEVA, Sept. 12. In the Assembly of the League of Nations Count Tsliii was received with cheers when lie intimated that the Italo-Grcek dispute was in a fair way to solution and it would he advisable, for the present, to refrain from discussion in order not to hamper the Council in further negotiations. London and the Netherlands alone spoke, expressing the hope that the Council would submit' a statement on the subject before the sittings of the Assembly terminated.
