WELLINGTON BEAT WANGANUT.
WANGANUI, Sept. ■ The representative game. Wellington v. Wanganui, was played here to-dav in showery weather. The visitors, having the best of the game, won hv 22 points to 9. At half time Wellington led by 19 points to six, hilt the play in the second half was more even. Swenson (1) Shearer and Mahoney scored for V. ellington, Nicholls converting two. Cox and Rotaka. scored for Wanganui, and Collier kicked a penalty goal.
