On their way from Westport, the Westland Rep. team played an Inan-,-ahua representative team at Reef ton yesterday and won by the narrow margin of H points to 8. Tim death took place this morning at Westland Hospital of Mr Emil Xergei. for many years a well-known settler ot the Okuru district. Deceased was ■ native of Denmark and »2 years ot age. He vas a single man. for a long peli„d „f vears he lived in South Y\ estland .>nd proved himself a worthy pioneer. ~ later vears tailing health caused aim to give up an active life and he eame ' to Hokitika where lie had .-nice iesided.
