Tlie following will represent the Kiwi Third Grades against Bbiketown tomorrow at 1.30 p.m.—-Stopfortb. Stickles, Glass. Lock. AlcTntosh, Lock, Alason. Gavlor. Davidson, Lukin. Gilloolv, A Ivors, Gardyne. Hall. King. The funeral of the Into E. Alulvihill of Kumara, took' place to-day, the remains being interred at Hokitika Cemetery. The funeral moved from Kutnnra, after mass bad been held at •ST. Patrick’s Church. There was a long line of otor veihelcs, numerous mourners attending from all parts of the district. The members of the Kutnnra Fire Brigade attended in uniform and coiistitutde the pall hearers. .Members of the Foresters Lodge attended also in regalia. The Mnyoiand members of the Kumara Borough Council and Kumara Racing Club, and representatives of the Creymouth and Westland Racing Clubs were present also. The funeral cortege reached Hokitika shortly nfler noon, when a number of townspeople joined the procession. At the graveside Father Burger, Rector of St. Bede's College, conducted tho burial service ill tho presence of a very large gahtering ot sorrowing |frxends. Very great sympathy was expressed with Airs Alulvihill and Aliss Alulvihill in their sad bereavement.
