The Reefton correspondent of the “Argus” says that the Hokitika school boys played a football match with the Reefton D.H. School on the Racecourse yesterday morning, and the visiting team were successful by six points to 3. It was a fine exhibition of football, much better to look at tnau some of the senior games we have witnessed this year. The Hokitika score was from two tries by Afason, neither of which was converted, and Austin was responsible for Reelton's score, which was also unconverted.
