Greatest in beautiful women—greatest in gowns and settings—greatest in heart-tug—greatest in thrills! The east includes—Leatrico Joy, Conrad Nagel, Edith Roberts. Jack .Mower, Theodore Roberts and Julia Faye. CABARET NIGHT. Last evening was the initiation of Cabaret night at the .Soldiers’ i.-li, when the novel occasion passed off successfully. Mr Bonetti’s orchestra consisting of pianist, Miss I’ascce; violin Mr Bonetti (leader); cornet, Air Christiansen; clarionet, Mr Clark; drums etc., Air K. Goodfellow, supplied splendid music, much of which was new entirely here. The floor was in particularly good order and patrons thus had a very enjoyable night’s dancing. Supper was served in the annexe for a small charge, and the lounge was patronised liberally, the supper arrangements being in the hands of the ladies committee of the It.S.A. Jazz screens' in the hall set off the hullroom very distinctively for tho occasion. The next Cabaret evening will be in about a fortnight’s time, duo notice of which will be given. On that occasion single as well as double tickets will be on sale, and no doubt all past and many new patrons will attend and enjoy the pleasure of the dancing under the very congenial circumstances permitted by these cabaret evenings. Air Bonetti’s jazz orchestra has been retained specially for tho season of cabaret nights.
It.S.A. WEEK. The round of benefits this week for the It.S.A. fund for building purposes will be brought to a close to-night. Tins afternoon a childrens’ party on uni'iiie lines is in progress at the Soldiers’ Hall. The juveniles began to arrive early and there is the promise of a large attendance. A programme of games and dances lias been arranged. and the proceedings should be merry, not to say. noisy, a sure sign of happy enjoyment. The children will be entertained at tea at 6 o’clock. At 8 o’clock Lo-night the usual weekly euchre tournament will he held, for which Airs Hecnaii, Revell Street, kindly donates prizes. Admission will he one shilling a- usual, and supper will lie served at the i lose of the play, when the prizes will be presented. Special music will he available tonight for the dance to begin at 9 o'clock, anil as the evening is a special one there is sure to he large attendance. 'Text week there will be usual weekly euchre tournament on Thursday next, followed by Soldiers’ Sale Day on Saturday loth, ius.t., for which the men’s committee is responsible.
