NO WORK AT REWAN[ I. [n V Tl-r.EGIIAPII —TICK I’ll ESS ASSOCIATION.] GREYAIOUTH. Sept. 5. The top mine at Rewanui is idle today. 'The hJld-tfp wat; caused by truckers, who rcltised to work. It is understood the dispute arose as follows The Mine 'Manager on Alomlay placed two truckers on coal, owing to so manv men being unemployed. I hose trucker's accepted the change of work without objection, but- yesterday they did not start work.' This morning the remainder of the truckers refused to sturt, claiming tliat the Manage* s action was wrong, anil that two other truckers should have been given the work. , A "GO-SLOW” POLKA.
