There is same trouble accruing m the A rahura river over the Maori claim to exclusive rights to fishing in th- river there in portion ol the area. Some whitebaiters have marked out places for trenches, and to these the Maoris are offering strenuous objection. Probably it will necessitate an appeal to the Magistrate to decide the rights of the position,.
