LOVE NEVER, DIES,” TO-NIGHT,

To-night a special First National ‘‘Lovo Never Dies,” starring Madge Bellamy and Lloyd Hughes will be the big attraction at the Princess Theatre and supporting this feature is Rcginald Denny in the famous “Leather Pushers,” and further episodes of

"With Stanley in Africa.” Usual prices will be charged. Extraordinary special attractions will he shown on Wednesday and Thursday this week. On Wednesday Priscilla Dearr and James Kirkwood are starred together in the Universal Jewel feature “Under Two Flags,” a picturisation of the evergreen novel l>y “Quida.” Millions have read this, work and millions will have the pleasure of seeing this line story portrayed on the screen. On Thursday next another big special will he presented. This is a Paramount production entitled “Saturday Night,” with an all star east. Made on a big scale such as only big money can stage. The story of the laundress’ daughter who married the millionaire—and ol the society girl who wed her chauffeur. The most realistically melodramatic crash lid ween train and nut ;- liiobih—staged high in the air on a hundred-foot trestle—is featured. A tenement lire of intense realism and dramatic action is shown in all its gripping intensity! A bathing party hold in an illuminated, mirrored pool is displayed in detail. Ball scenes, cabaret scenes, Coney Island scenes, wreck scenes, forming the background of one of the greatest modern up-to-the-minute love stories ever screened.

U.S.A. WEEK. AIIXSTRELS TO-.UOItBOW NIGHT. At the Princess Theatre, to-morrow night the U.S.A. Minstrels will bold the hoards. A programme of distinctive variety has been prepared and circulated. It speaks for itself. The orchestra is ono of the best which lias been heard here. The late rehearsals give promise of a first-class entertainment. The stage will he arranged specially, and will be filled with a. large circle of Minstrels, who round the camp fire of ail old plantation, will afford music and pleasant melody for the dclignt of patrons. The jokes will be many and topical, and the fun .merry and bright. In the second half there vill oe. uirther variety, and the introduction of former members of the Diggers’ Coy. The whole programme will be jolly and entertaining, and should draw a bumper house. The funds go to the R.S.A. building fund, winch is in need of all the practical support the public is disposed to contribute. Hollowing the entertainment the peiformers will be entertained at upper at the Soldiers’ Hall, where a wind tip dance will he held, commencing at 10.-15 o’clock.

CABARET- WEDNESDAY NIGHT. Wednesday night at the Soldiers' Hall will, be a special Cabaret evening. This will lie the first of its kind in Hokitika. Each gentleman may bring his dancing partner for the evening, ft will be a jazz programme for ’lie entire night. The orchestra (Mr Bon-et-ti’s) will make the programme and all the Inn —there "ill be no M.C. Admission is by double ticket, and as the music "ill be a feature, it is expected a very largo attendance "ill be attracted. The jasrat music will be new entirely locally, and lias been specially selected by Mr Bonetti, who has gone also to the expense of securing a special outfit for the jazz band. The novelty of the occasion will excite great interest, and jazz parties from Greymouth, Tvumnra and the outside places will lie present. The annexe will be set apart as a lounge, where refreshments, including cool drinks, will no served at a nominal charge. The general ai rangeinents in hand point to the evening being a distinct success.

CHILDREN’S PARTY. THURSDAY AFTERNOON. A Children’s party and plain and fancy chess dance "ill be held on Thursday, afternoon, starting at 4 30 o’clock. The children "ill he entertained at (i o’clock. THURSDAY }TGHT. Ou Thursday night as usual the weekly euchre will take place. This is a special night and extra tables will he provided. Special supper arrangements arc being made also.
