The first round of the men’s AAest Coast, championship was played this morning in rough weather and heavy rain. Mc-Kinlay defeated Croudts 5 up and 4 ; Wilson defeated Chesnoy 5 up and 4 : Henley defeated Shalleras--4 up and 2; Lovell and Foote have yet to play. Disappointment is felt a. all the outsiders have been defeated in the first round, leaving only locals to continue the championship.
