WESTLAND BRANCH. FRIDAY. AUG. 17th. The adjourned annual meeting of this branch was held at tlie ( minty Chambers at 7.30 o’clock. Present: .Mr It. F. Pcrham (chair) ; Dr. Teitiielmanii, (lion See.). .Messrs (.unison, F. Millie ms, S. Ford, J. N. Robinson, I). McCaskill, \V. Jeffries. I ■ Park. D. Stuart. J. H. Wilson. J. Mclntosh. J. Simpson, Drs Buchanan ami Baird. An apology was received from Mr G. Davidson for his unavoidable absence. T!u? annual report and balamc sheet was read and adopted. Dr E. Teiclieknanu was elected president for the ensuing year and -Mr • 11. Wilson was elected as honorary secret ary. ... The members present together with Afr George Davidson and Mrs Butler were elected as a Committee with power to add to their number. Three new members were elected. . A tonsiderable amount of giuiia business was done which will he reported in a later issue. A hearty a« - of thanks was unanimously accot .Ud Mr G. Davidson for bis long service as President. A vote of ihnnks to im chair concluded the meeting.
