KIWIS V. EXCELSIORS. This senior game took place on C'ass Square oil Saturday afternoon in perfoot woiithcr. Tlicro wits a jcood attendance to witness the game, and the unexpected happened. Excelsiors proving victorious by 9 points (a try ami two penally goals, all bv X. Wogan) to nil. The game generally was a forward one, hut the play though hard proved disappointing. Considerable feeling was shown during the progress of ilie game. The only try scored came through the Kiwi full hack misguiding a bouncing hall, which enabled Wogan to get up and score. Tin- same player later kicked a fine penalty goal from nearly half way, the score nt half time being (I to nil. In I lie second half the game continued even, Palmer for the winners showing considerable judgment. In this spell Wogan kicked another goal. The play was tip an 1 down the field, but there was an absence of any combined back play. On the day the best team undoubtedly won, the Kiwi forwards being unable to more than hold their opponents. Mr E. Ileenan was referee.

SEX'IOR. CHA MPIONSHIP
With a number of games yet to Iso played Harihari now stand in an unbeatable position as senior champions, and the Club are to he complimented on their success, having generally given a good exposition of the game. The Kokatahi Club come second on the list.
