CHAIRMAN'S VISIT TO SOUTH WESTLAND. PROPOSED ITINERARY. Aug. 28.—Forenoon, visit Wnitnha Settlement; afternoon, Bold Head road terminus nnd Evans’ road ; evening at Wataroa, deputations. Aug. 20.—Forenoon, inspect Wntnron Flat roads; mid-day at Okarito; afternoon Okarito Forks and proceed to Waiho Gorge,' deputations. Aug. 80.—Inspect Docherty’s road, visit Karangarua ; evening nt Jacob’s River, deputations. Aug. 31.—Visit Bruce Ray and blower Pot landing; return to Weltcka, deputations. Sept. I.—Forenoon. proceed to Waiho; evening at Hnrihari. deputations. Sept. 2.—lnspect Inter-Wanganui Flat roads and return to Hokitika in the evening. Mr Duff, County Chairman, who will be accompanied by some of the members of the Hiding and the Clerk, will be glad to meet the settlers at various points in respect to County matters and requirements.
