Sir,—The Annual meeting of the above Association takes place as advertised on August 10th., in the County Chambers at I .GO p.m. 1 would like to take this opportunity cf asking every farmer in Westland to give this Association his or her full support; the town has supported the Association liberally. It is the one great factor to bring Westland fanners together and secure an opportunity to discuss farming potentialities and see for themselves what each district can produce. The success of the two Shows held since the reconstruction of the Association, whose function in holding Shows had U-psed deling the war peiiod. has already done a power of good to the district in showing w hat can he produced, and without a doubt has brought Westland into prominence witti outside stock fanciers. Toe Association has a scheme under way for the making of a Show ground on' the Westland Having Chib’s ground directly in front > 1 the Gi.inilstand.
