AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION. NAVY AND AIR FORCE. LONDON, Aug. 2. A White Paper has been issued containing the recommendations, as approved by the Government, of the special sub-committee on the relations iretween the Navy and the Air Force. The sub-committee does not think the present system can remain altogether unchanged, nor is it possible, completely, to sever the relations of the two forces and so il recommends that naval officers he appointed to the Air Staff. Means should he devised whereby the wealth of technical knowledge at the Admiralty’s disposal would he utilised by the Air Ministry.

PRINCE HENRY INJURED. (Received this day at 8 n.m.) LONDON, Aug. Prince Henry is spending his holidays in bed owing to an accident which occurred at Aldershot where ho was exercising with his troop, tile Tenft Hussars. He put his charter at a fence hut the animal reared and rolled, crushing the rider’s leg beneath the saddle. The Prince was taken to the military hospital, where it was found that a small hone in his ankle was fractured and the leg bruised. A message says that satisfaction is expressed at the agreement reached with the Bank of England to advance Greece- a million sterling and more, if needed, against a loan which will lie issued under the auspices of the League of Nations for the maintenance of the settlement in Greece of refugees.
