The costume which took generations to make was beyond doubt the loveliest over worn l>v a bride. Colouring of various shades, shaped ill the most artistic fashion with gems hidden by glorious settings and shoes of gold having black diamonds as fasteners. The bride was greatly admired liv all who had the pleasure of seeing her and many, we believe, are making a visit in the future to see this womlerful costume which will ho for the public to inspect. 'flic tie binding the couple together was the gift of the people throughout New Zealand and consisted of steel hands, greater value than gold. This beautiful piece of work engaging the Dominion's host artificers is a work of art and displays quite a noble piece of craltsmanship. with here and there lattices, gracelul curves, and studded with loco sparks and electric brilliants, the gilt being appreciated enormously by bride and bridegroom.
