AUSTRALIAN AND N Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION MR McGJRR RESIGNS. SYDNEY. Aug. 2. Mr McGirr has resigned from the Labour Party. In a letter to the Executive, Mr McGirr gives bis reasons. He says the Party, as at present constituted has lost sight of its Australian sentiments. It is led by reactionaries, and it masquerades as a Labour Party, when, in reality, it is a body oi timid and nervous Tories, who, at heart, are conservative in the extreme.
