SPECIAL OTIRA NUMBER. The Christchurch “Press” is Issuing a special number to-morrow in connection with the opening of tlie Otira. Tunnel. The issue will include an historical review cf the Midland Railway, of the gold days, and of the coal, timber agricultural and scenic resources of the West Coast. It should prove of general interest, and should provide an interesting souvenir of a great happening that the Const people and its friends all over the country have been looking forward to for many years past. The special number will be sold at two pence per copy and purchasers are advised to order at once from the local agents so as to avoid disappointment.
