The death took place in the Westport District Hospital at 0.25 p.m. on Saturday, of Airs Tulloch, wife of Captain Walter Tulloch, Harlioniuistei', AVesrport. Dccca-ed was. with inenibers of her family down with influenza, nnil on Thursday her illness took so serious a form that Dr. Foote ordeied her removal to the hospital, where, despite all care and skilful attention, she failed to rally and finally passed away at p,2.-> ola Saturday evening. The deceased was a native of Auckland. -IS years of age. and was married at Port C halmers. She was a woman of a very bright- and cheerful disposition, a readv worker in any good cause, a most devoted wife and mother, and her demise is a. sad blow to the sorrowing husband and family of two sons and two daughters, and to her aged parent, who also resides at Westport, and is himself seriously ill with influenza.
