Much that is alleged to be in favour of the system has teen said by those who have supported the movement, and much that is alleged to be against it has lieen pointed out by those people who support trading bv proprietary concerns. Whatever inuv be the advantages or disadvantages of co-operative marketing and trading, the fact remains that during recent years there has been a growing tendency on the part of producers to handle the sale of their own products on a co-operative basis.
