JUSTICE ADAMS’ DECISION. MAGISTRATE’S DECISION UPSET. The Acting Registrar of the Supreme Court at Hokitika this morning read the judgment of his Honor, Justice Adams in the appeal of Frederick C. Marshall (Park and Murdoch) appellant and Jane Baird (Mr A. 11. Paterson), ■against the decision of Magistrate Meldrunt, in the bull ease, in which judgment was given for defendant, with costs. His Honor allowed the appeal of the appellant (Marshal!) with costs of £l2 12s and disbursements; and the case is remitted to the Magistrate to -assess the damages for which judgment will bo entered for appellant with the proper costs in the Magistrate’s Court, including disbursements and witnesses’ expenses.
