BILLIARDS.
There was a good attendance at the Federal Billiard Rooms last evening to witness the billiard match between Hr Clark M(-Conneliv (New Zealand champion) and Mr J. Peiiii, 1000 up, the latter being conceded 800 points. The champion ran out an easy winner, when bis opponent had only scored l s o. The champion's largest breaks wore 225, lit) and 7 a . The champion also played Mr W. Stewart, .a game of snooker, in which he ran out the winner, both play, in.g from scratch. Mr McConaclty’s trick shots exposition was a very good one, and were a surprise to the onlookers, especially the hat cannon trick.
