["Tub Times” Service.] TURKISH RACE. (Received this dav at 1T.*15 a.m.) PARIS, July 18. Although deploring many concessions made by Franco, the newspapers cxIV.'oss general satisfaction that peace lias been reached at Lausanne. Each national, however, is of the opinion that Turkish independence will not last long. Tho old guardian ship will soon he replaced by possibly Russia or Germany. When the Allies evacuate the Dardanelles, the Turks will begin a policy oil which neither France nor England can congratulate themselves.
