PUBLIC NOTICK IS HEREBY CUVKN' tliat The Westland County Council have made and oidained by special order a By-law to lie enforced throughout the Westland County. The said By-law ordains Regulations for regulating traffic on the County Roads by means of motor lorries, motor ears, private ears, motor cycles, timber waggons, vehicles, drays, etc. And provides for the issue of annual licenses and the payment of License fees a.s follows: Yeai Iv. £ s. d. I. -Motor ,Lorries carrying a load weighing more And .makes the following regulations : That no one under the age ot 18 years shall he entitled to obtain a license to drive any of the aforesaid vehicles plying for hire. The examination of persons driving such public vehicles. The application for certificates of competence and examinations therefore. the rules of the road to he observed by such drivers of vehicles. The weight, to he carried by such vehicles and the' speed at which such vehicles may be driven. The licensing of timber waggons and carts, etc., if playing for hire, and the method of applying for licenses therefor.
