lUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. LIEUT ERNHABDT’S ESCAPE. (Received 'this day at 9.25 n.m.) BERLIN, July 17. It is ascertained that a motor cai was waiting at the rear of tho law courts at the time of Lieut Ernliard’s escape, the driver reading a newspaper. Suddenly three men, one believed to he Erhardt, dashed towards the car which sped away. Several warriors have hecn arrested, charged with facilitating the escape. A sensation has hcen caused by tha arrest, of Princess Al.arga'reta llolienlohe Oehringen, aged 2it. Her complicity in the escape is not proved, hut. she was charged with sheltering Erhardt alter the Kapp coup ami was committing perjury by swearing he was unknown to her. Hitherto site had been permitted freedom pending her trial.
