Adams, of Alillerton, were totally destroyed by fire at midnight on Saturday. The origin of the tire is unknown. The insurance was nil. AN ANXIOUS TIME. GISBORNE, July 16. Heavy rain caused an anxious time to the settlers last night when the AA'aipno a rose rapidly and an overflow al some places was feared, hot the rain cased off and the danger passed.
