Where cooking range and boiler are combined this obviously necessitates the kitchen file being extinguished and the ministrations of the plumber for a couple of days -provide a very unsatisfactory substitute for well-rooked meals and the usual comforts of home. Then, again, preparation may have been made for a definite number to sit down to the family meals, and at the last moment the arrival of unexpected guests may make it necessary to cock extra food. Such emergencies are only too frequent and with the usual perversity of things, generally occur at the veiv time when least anticipated and most, inconvenient. A Gas Cooker reduces the work of the house, keeps the cook satisfied, and increases the excellence of the cooking. There are hundreds now in use in Hokitika. Join the pleased throng.
