AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CAULK ASSOCIATION LABSANNE AGREEMENT. (Received this day at I'd.'2d p.m.) I.AFFANNK, July !>. An agreement in principal was arrived at on the following basis:—The Allies agree to refrain front insistence on currency wherein the Ottarnan debt shall he paid, without such attitude precluding them from maintaining that private contracts between Turkey and creditors cannot he modified except by agreement between Turkey and Ottov man bond holders. On the question of concessions, the agreement recognises contracts made before October 29th, 1011. The agreement also restores the war material belonging to the Turks, which has fallen into the Allies’ hands.
