The bndv of James Arthur Brown, aged 7b. of George St. .Mount Eden, was found this morning in a dam at AVestern Springs, it being face down in two feet of water. The deceased had been missing since Saturday morning. He was in indifferent health lately. iIALF-HOLIAV ROI-L. FIELDING, .Tune 17. The previous pull on the half-holiday question was voided, and a second poll was held, when Wednesday was chosen for the half-holiday. This means a change, as Saturday lias been the day for the past four years. Air V. Smith was elected to the Borough Council, hut was unseated because his name had been accidentally omitted from the printed district electors list. He was re-elected hv a substantial majority over AH Clelnml. who had petitioned against his election.
