A British destroyer seized a Turkish transport in the Sea of Marmora, conveying guns from Thrace. GENEVA, June IS. The ex-Khedive Abbnssclmo, has arrived. In a statement he said:—“l have not accepted the presidency of the Federation of Arab countries of Asia Minor, nor renounced the Egyptian throne, which was only abdicated hy foreign force. I have no doubt about the Egyptians fidelity, and if re- ' turned it will be hy their will and suffrages. BRITAIN AND TURKEY. (Received this day at 12.25 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE. June IK. The British authorities have received information that the Turks are endeavouring to remove from Thrace the guns and troops clandestinely sent there in violation of the Mudania armistice yhen a rosumpion of the Tlirco-Greek hostilities were threatened. A British destroyers watched the port at night and caught a transport early in the morning, and the seizure .'.proved conclusively the failure of the Turkish preparations in Thrace.
