Matson and Co., report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday: Store Sheep—A medium sized yarding. including some really good lilies of sheep. The market was decidedly ’buoyant, and showed an improvement all-round. S.M. ewes made 26s to 30s, extra good to 33s and 355; medium sorts 17s to 235, aged and inferior 13s to 15s Gd; ewe hoggets to 20s, best M.S. hoggets 20s to 225., medium 17s to 10s Gd, others down to 12s; forward wethers 23s (id to 29s lOd; one extra good line making 31s lOd to 325; medium 23s to 20s, others down to 21s. Store cuttle—A large yarding, but mostly of mm-deseript lots, comprising mostly old cows with a few pens ef nice steers. There was a very dragging side, the demand be.ng null. Three-year steers £3 to £3 15s, 2-yr. ditto 33- to -!<K yearlings 15s to 235: 2-yrs. heifers £2 5s to £2 10s, yearlings 20s to 355; cows 15s to 30.;. Digs. ■ A very small yarding of bacn.is and an average yarding of porkers. The demand ail through was keen, especially so lor porkers.
