Certain securities, chiefly of the Canadian-Paci-fic Railway, impounded by the American Alien 'Enemy Property Custodian, are claimed by the Canadian custodians as the property of German nationals domiciled in Canada
The correspondent says that the negotiations will not bo conducted through the British Embassy, and aro viewed as an additional stop forward in the direction of Canada’s control of ns own foreign affairs.
