PRINCESS CHRISTIAN’S DEATH.
COURT GOES. INTO MOURNING. AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CAULK ASSOCIATION. (Received this day at 9.45 a.m.) LONDON. June 10. The King has commanded the Court to go into mourning for lour weeks, but in consideration for the public at the height of the London season has not cancelled the Ascot meeting.
Arrangements have been made for the funeral service at Saint Georges’ Chapel, Windsor Castle cn Friday. A memorial service will he held at A\estminstev Abbey at the same hour, fheii Majesties have gone into deep mourning. They kept an engagement to visit East End. London, yesterday and viewed Queen Mary’s hospital. They drove through crowded streets to the dockland settlement. Canningtown. which has live thousand members, men, women and children. They made a tour of the Club rooms. The Prince of Wales meantime opened a public golf course at Richmond Park, which is intended to benefit the workers.
