A Mellila communique states that Spanish forces supported hy aeroplanes and artillery, escorting convoys to the Tiazziassa position, encountered a Moorish force numbering 7.000. A tierce, prolonged- engagement "as fought. The Spaniards lost 400 lulled and wounded and the Moors losses were much heavier. They were mowed down hv artillery. The Spanish convoys have reached Tizziassa.
