MR MASSEY’S TRIP.
INVITATIONS TO LONDON. [BY TEI.EGRAPII —PER PREBS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Mav 30. A cable has lieen received by Mr Massey from Mr Morgan. (President of the British Empire Producers’ Organisation) as follows: “The British Empire Producers’ Organisation considers it extremely important for the expansion of Empire preference, that you should attend the conference personally. —Morga n. ” The following telegram has been received from the British Prime Minister. through the Governor-General by Mr Massey:—“l hare this morning received a cable embodying a message for you from Mr Stanley Baldwin, in which he states that the changes in the Government in Great Britain will not affect the arrangements for the Imperial Conference, and the economic conference in the autumn, and that he is looking forward to meeting yon in October.—Jellicoe.”
