YESTERDAY’S WOOL SALE. LOCAL WOOLS SELL WELL. The last sale of the season under the auspices of the N.Z. Wcolhrokcrs’ Association opened yesterday in the Ton n Hall. Wellington, at 9 a.m. and telegraphic, advices state that the market was distinctly linn for most lots offering, the only apparent drop being in Lincoln sorts. The following prices were recorded for local wools, graded and classed by Messrs AY. Jeffries and Co.: —3 Index Yal Fleurie xl>. 11 Jd per lb; 9 bales Vnl Fletuie xb. fObd per lb: •! bales Yal Fleurie xb. XOd per lb: I bales Yal Fleurie xb. pieces Sijd per lb.; 0 bales Throe Hearts xb. ILUI per lb; J bales T. F. conjoined xb. lid per lb: 3 bale? P.L. xb. lid per lb. Several bales of star lots all locally grown ranged in prices from BJd to 10J per lb., while good pieces made t'Sd per lb. with 1 tellies and locks from oi]d to 7UI.
