The New Zealand Hockey Association considered the replies of Conti os regarding the proposed English tour. tAll were favourable except Auckland, and it was considered that the prospects of arranging a tour were good. Action was deferred pending the receipt of all replies from Centres. Hates for the challenge shield held by Mannwatu were fixed as follows \ ersus Hawke’s Bay at Palmerston June 30th; Nelson July 14; Canterbury July 2S; Wellington, August 4tln
