HOCKEY.
A team of lady hockey players from Keefton played the Hokitika I.ndies’ Hockey team on Cn.-s Square on Saturday afternoon and after an excellent game the visitors were returned tfie victor- l>y 3 goals t(> nil. The first spell ended without score, both teams attacking in turn, and each side had some close chances of scores being recorded against them. In Die second half, the combination of the visitors placed them in a winning position, three goals being scored. Messrs iliiicksniau and Wvthoy were the referees. The visitors were entertained at a dance in the Town Hall on Saturday evening and returned home yesterdav.
