RIFLE SHOOTING. NEW ZEALAND INVITED. WELLINGTON. May 21. The National Rifle Association of England hns invited N.Z. to send a team to Bisley next year when th® Empire Exhibition will he held. Col. Collins and Air Marshall, Chairman of the Executive, are making enquiries as to the cost and how it can be met. They v.ill rcpoit to a meeting of the executive in July. Australia has alleady decided to send a team. MAN SUICIDES. WELLINGTON. May 20. A middle-aged man, named Frederick George Layton, was found hanging by a strap to the hack door of the Kensington Private hotel. It is not known whether he lias any relatives here and as his financial circumstances are good, his reason for suiciding is unknown. ARBITRATION COURT. CHRISTCHURCH, May 21 The Arbitration Court has fixed the following dates Napier, May 28; Palmerston North. May 31 ; New Plymouth, June 5; Westport, June 13; Greymouth, June 15; Wellington, .June 215th.
