AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION. POINCARE’S FIG URKS. CONCERNING RUHR OCCUPATION. PARIS, May 18. M. Poincare has issued the statement of the Foreign Affairs and Finance Commission showing that the cost of the occupation of flic Ruhr to May 1 totalled 63,060,000 francs. The receipts from Customs, export licenses, forests, and fines amounted to 30,000,(100 francs. Coal and coke seized in the same period is estimated to he worth 30,07)0,000. M. Poincare says the position therefore is satisfactory, as the receipts exceeded the expenditure, and the coal and coke yields will show a continual increase. GERMAN OFFER ACCEPTED. 'BELGADE May 18. Government have accepted Germany’s olfer to build five wireless stations in Jngo-Slnvia, in part payment of reparations.
