COMMERCIAL ITEMS.
SAIF OF DAIRY STOCK. At the Ara’mra lard- yesterday an important sale of dairy stock sold under instruction of the Commissioner of Crown Lands took tih'.'-e. I here was a large attendance of dairy fanners whose interest was chiefly centred in the many lots which directly appealed to them. The hulk of the yarding were rows, which "ere due to profit about September and October of this year, the majority of which had been previously tried and have proved satisfactory. Considering the time ol the year the condition of the cattle was very sat islet tory and in view of the fact that purchasers would need to keep them the a hole of the winter, prices realised were most satisfactory. The lollowing prices were recorded on behalf of the Commissioner of Lands:---One heifer springer C 5 ss, 1 do £5 10s I do £(i 7s fid, 2 dry cows Cl each. I IS-inos. heifer £2 7s Oil, 1 aged cow C 9 12s fid. 2 hull calves £1 Is each. 1 heifer in prolii b‘6 Ids. J boiler sjuing-c-’s L's 15s each, 1 third tali' cow £7, 1 do £5 15s. I do £6, 1 second calf cow CO ss, I do £4 15s. 2 fourth calf cows cm, i.q s each. 2 dry cows £3 15s each, 2 heifer springers £5 each. 4 yearling heifers £'2 5s each, 2 2-yr old heifers C ! 15s each, 6 2-yr. old steers C 3 ss, 1 drv cow C2 ss. 6 calves 15s each 1 si"er U 1 17s 6(1, I 'bull 19s. I lu'lf draught gelding £2l, I bay pony 30a aged. On account Mr R. Bradley. 1 Ist. call row in profit. £9 2s 6.1. 1 Jersey Bull £3, 1 hack mare £7.
