AUSTRALIAN' AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. FACTORY OCCUPIED. BERLIN, May 15. It is reported from Ludwinshafen that an Spain regiment from Treves has occupied the Baden aniline soda factory. There are large concentrations of French troops at Ludwigsliafen. Greushcim streets are crowded with infantry, cavalry and artillery. FAVOUR A RESUMPTION. BERLIN, May 15. At Berlin the Democratic members of the Reichstag in commenting on tho British Noto distinctly favour a resumption of negotiations. Bernstorff said:—The negotiations ought and must continue. Everything else is a matter of indifference to me because, otherwise, the situation is unbearable for Europe. Schiffer said that though the Noto a rous ed bitter feelings these must lie suppressed and the framework of the last proposals should be filled with concrete ones. These should he formulated by German business men. who should not leave everything to the Government.
Hoetisch said Conservative Germany should only reply to England and Italy. The decision is not expected before Whitsuntide,
