.MACEDONIA AND BULGARIA
| “The Times’’ Service.! (Received this dav at 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 14. The “Times” Sofia correspondent says war is threatening in connection with the Agrarian Macedonian quarrel. Macedonians have completely usurped tita Bulgarian Government's authority ill Petrich Nevrekop district, taxing people to provide themselves with munitions of war. The Government have arrested numerous Macedonians, and ordered a general Agrarian mobilisation. twenty thousand whereof will .short!v bo summoned. SOFIA, May 14. A small voluntary army, which Bulgaria, possesses, is being exclusively trained for action against the Macedonians. Mouravit-f. Minister lor War, declares: —“They may hill me and other members of the party, hut they will not alter our policy to put an end oneo and for all—to Macedonian disturbers of the peace." ft is difficult to ascertain the counter measures, which to-dav, AlexnndrofT, the leader of the insurgents and his Serbian and Macedonian followers are taking, hut Mouravieff has been reliably informed they have decided to fight to a finish.
