A general meeting of the Otago Boxing Association was held to-night, fo consider what steps should be taken in view of the disqualification of the Executive by the New Zealand Boxing Council. The President and Executive decided to resign in a body, and a new chairman was appointed for the meeting. A provisional committee was then set ii)r from the members of the Association not concerned in the disqualification , and the meeting then authorised ibis provisional committee to apply for re-affiliation to the Boxing Council.
