Mr H. T. Parry, organiser of the new Dairy Factory to he erected at Hoktika. arrived yesterday in connection with the movement.
At a. meeting of the AA estport lire Brigade, held ini Tuesday evening, the N.Z. Fire Brigades’ Association submitted Rotorua. Hokitika and Palmerston North for the nexc_ annual conference in February. Westport Brigade voted in favour of Hokitika. After the pictures to-night call up to Tlie Rendezvous for supper. Aon will find the hot-pies delicious. The tomato soup is a lignt and dainty refreshment liked bv everyone. Poached ewes on toast and bacon and eggs make an enjoyable supper when served either with a cup.of fragrant tea or with our special milk coffee. —Advt.
