TWO UNIONS COMING. AUSTRALIAN’ AND N. 7.. CABLE ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, May 8. During the discussion on the report of the delegates to the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union. Nelson (a member of the Otago Union Management- Committee) said he thought there would be no great hardship if the head office of tlie Union was shifted for a year or two, even if it went back to Wellington. He thought the day was coming when there would be two unions, one in the North Island and one in the South Island. Air Harris interjected:—“l hope not.” Air Nelson said he did not think the time was far distant when such an arrangement would be come to. He did not think it.would make much difference to the game, provided the two unions could see their way to appoint a board to run international matches.
