REBELS HUNTED.
LONDON, May 3. Sumo surprise has been manifested in Dublin at the fact, that the Dail Eireann’s latest meeting has passed without any allusion being made to Mr De Valera’s recent proclamation. This especially is remarked on, since there is now an entire absence of Irregular outrages, which shows Mr Do Valera’s one-sided truce lias been now put into operation. The Free State Government, however, is apparently determined to ignore Air De Valera’s effusion, at any rnte for the time being.
The rebels are still being harried and w hunted, which fact the Government lias emphasised by issuing the details of tv yr" considerable number of arrests. Though it is somewhat puzzling on the surface, the Free State Government’s attitude follows logically its determination to suppress revolt without any compromise, and to refuse to he drawn into any controversy.
FURTHER EXECUTIONS.
LONDON. May 3
Christopher Quinn and William Shaughnessy were executed at Ennis frr the murder of a national soldier. ,
